In Short: Depending on what want out of a gun, buy this and I'm certain you will almost certainly be happy with the purchase.
Here is why: I was looking for some small 9mm to replace a .380 and .32 I keep in my cars so I would have more capacity, more power, and be much easier to shoot well. I bought the 3GS after seeing a number of very positive reviews on YouTube (especially some from the Honest Outlaw whom I find to be well versed in these things). I got this at a great price from GunPrime and, WOW, I was pleasantly surprised. I handled the gun and it feels very nice in my medium/large sized hands. It is the "grippiest" gun I have ever owned! That grip texture is fantastic. I could use more but there is enough to get a great grip to help control recoil. It's not too light nor too heavy. I'd suggest cleaning and lubricating it right away but I did not and went straight to the range. I shot 200 rounds without any firearm failures of any kind (115 and 125 grain FMJ). The 115 grain was some very cheap Ammo Inc. and two had light primer strikes. Reviews say the gun has "restrike" capabilities and perhaps it does but that did not work for those two ammo issues. I ejected the rounds and reloaded them and they did shoot after that. I don't know what to think about that but a restrike goes against my training (tap & rack) so its not an issue for me and I'll never buy that brand ammo again anyhow. The trigger has a long pull but its only with resistance on the first round. After that, there is no resistance until you "hit the wall." The weight is not too heavy either way. The break and reset are good to go. I took video of my recoil control and with proper grip and technique, there is very little muzzle flip. When my wife shot it (I had her in mind when I got this) she did have plenty of flip but she has not shot a gun in 5 years (that's my bad) and I'll retrain her on recoil control. We both shot well in terms of accuracy and she said she was mainly just pointing and shooting at a self-defense ranged target. I was not displeased at my accuracy at 25-yards. It's not my 1911, but this will do what I have it for. I keep this in the car and am not too concerned if it were to get stolen as I don't have much invested in it. Anyhow, after shooting it I came home and bought another one (from GunPrime). I did not care about getting the version cut for a red dot as its for up close and personal and it needs to stay cheep in case it gets stolen. It also needs to stay small so it fits in the places of my car I am keeping them. My daily carry gun is the exact same size (Springfield XDS .45) but this holds twice the ammo. The sights are metal and are decent. I was looking at buying a very inexpensive high vis front sight but reviews taught me that replacing the front sight (Glock compatible) is difficult. I may look into it again but the front sight is good enough. I shot low and determined that this gun/sight picture is a "combat hold" instead of the more common "center hold" for most handguns I've ever owned/shot. I really enjoyed shooting this and will with the money I saved at GunPrime I can buy more ammo to practice with! There are a number of UPC codes for this gun and this one comes with 3 mags. This is a really good gun and was a great purchase. Thanks GunPrime!
I bought one a while back and I liked it so much I bought the exact same model for my backup.
I would recommend that you try one of these, you might really like it.
It was a pleasure doing business with gunprime.
They have the absolute best price I've seen anywhere and they delivered very quickly.
Looking forward to doing business with them again.
